On September 18th, Judge Robert Irons granted a motion for stay in an appeal of West Virginia DEP’s decision to issue a permit under West Virginia’s

Natural Streams Preservation Act to allow the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) to cross the Greenbrier River — the longest free-flowing river east of the Mississippi.

On Tuesday, October 23rd, Judge Irons will preside at a hearing on the merits of the case.
