A day-long public conference program in Morgantown, West Virginia:
“Climate Change Issues Update 2018”
Are you concerned about climate change and energy issues? Do you want to learn about effective solutions to the climate challenges that we face?
If your answer to these questions is “yes,” then here is important news about an upcoming free public educational conference in Morgantown, West Virginia.
On Saturday, December 1, at the West Virginia University College of Law, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the “National Energy Conference 2018 — Climate Issues Update” will feature presentations by more than a dozen scholars and experts in climate communication, science, and policy.
Topics will include climate communication, controlling methane emissions, putting a price on carbon, and solar energy.
The keynote luncheon speaker will be Emily Calandrelli, “the Space Gal,” an Emmy-nominated science journalist who hosts FOX TV’s “Xploration Outer Space” and is the author of the popular “Ada Lace” children’s science book series. Emily is an exciting speaker on the need for science-driven education and climate-smart policies.

The program will be held from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the West Virginia University College of Law Event Hall, Evansdale Campus, Morgantown, WV. Conference registration is free and includes a buffet luncheon from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. Free parking onsite. Persons who wish to attend should promptly RSVP soon online using the form on the Conference Page, and they will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Attendees must also register online with the Center for Energy and Sustainable Development. A link to the Center’s online conference registration page will be sent to registered attendees as soon as the page is active.
